Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida is seeking a PRN EKG Technician to support patient care and ensure accurate orders. You will perform EKGs, assist with daily tasks, and deliver high-quality service in a collaborative team.

This role requires excellent communication, reading and writing skills, and the ability to operate medical equipment. Training and development are available, with a focus on quality improvement.

Job Description

PRN: $18.45/HR + SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS

Collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations. Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarifies with offices, floors, or physicians as needed. Provides excellent customer service and ensures effective communication among all caregivers. Performs EKGs accurately and efficiently. Maintains all equipment in proper working order. Completes delegated daily, weekly, and monthly tasks promptly. Interacts with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all tasks and procedures. Assists with patient care activities as needed. Participates in ongoing training and development to maintain skills and knowledge. Supports quality improvement initiatives within the department. Other duties as assigned.
