Job summary

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training Project Designer in our Kaysville, Utah office. The role combines civil design with water resources and municipal projects, emphasizing teamwork and client coordination.

You will engage with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to master planning, hydraulic modeling, and pipeline design, and participate in fieldwork and public meetings. A collaborative, growth-oriented environment is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• E.I. or EIT certification required.
• 0–4 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in water resources and municipal projects.
• Develop business by building client relationships and assisting with proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory/funding agencies, and contractors.
• Attend client meetings and public meetings to discuss project details.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and site visits.
• Coordinate with PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers.
