The candidate should hold a B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering and an EIT certification, with 0–4 years of civil engineering experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• Engineering Intern (E.I.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam) required.
• 0-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in planning, design, and construction of water resources and municipal projects.
• Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory/funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and monitoring equipment installation.
• Coordinate with PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers.
