J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. seeks an Engineer-in-Training Project Designer in our Orem, Utah office. The role focuses on water resources and municipal projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting master planning, pipelines, channels, and public meetings.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering and an EIT certification; 0–4 years of civil experience; strong written and verbal communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
• EIT certification (Fundamentals of Engineering) required.
• 0–4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in planning, design, and construction of water resources and municipal projects (master planning, hydraulic modeling, pipelines, canals, pump stations, dams, sewers, etc.).
• Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory agencies, funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and equipment installation.
• Coordinate with PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers.
