J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to join the Project Designer team in Orem, Utah.

In this role you will apply civil engineering knowledge to water resources and municipal projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to proposals and client meetings. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Engineering Intern (E.I.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed FE) required.
• 0-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams on water resources and municipal projects.
• Develop business by building client relationships and supporting proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators, funding agencies and contractors on requirements and deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses.
• Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation and site reconnaissance.
• Coordinate with PE’s, EI’s, drafters, funding team, and construction observers.
