Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join a growing team supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. The role offers mentorship and growth opportunities, with 3–5 years of relevant experience and hands-on Revit and Bluebeam work.

Locations include Boise, ID; Denver, CO; Sacramento, CA, plus remote with travel. The position is hybrid—3 days onsite and 2 days remote for local candidates, with travel of 1–3 days per month for site visits and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• FE/EIT certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and support HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial building projects.
• Work with equipment such as air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, and compressors.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, and technical documentation.
• Develop and coordinate designs using Revit and Bluebeam.
• Support construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and construction administration.
• Participate in site visits and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Work closely with senior engineers while taking on increasing project responsibility.
