Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Albuquerque, NM office seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position and involves site development engineering, project management, and rich on-the-job training under mentorship.

You will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology and storm drainage tools, and contribute to permitting, bid packages, and client interactions, while growing technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience at a civil engineering design firm.
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelors or Masters).
• EIT or ability to obtain certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management for various projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and related tools.
• Engage in research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, and permitting for land disturbance.
• Assist with bid packages, technical specifications, plan production, project financials, and client interactions.
