Job summary

Kimley-Horn's San Antonio, TX office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform site development engineering and project management tasks, complete site civil design and permitting, and use software including hydrology modeling, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. The role includes researching, coordinating, and cost estimating, with mentorship and exposure to plan

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience at a civil engineering design firm
• Engineer-In-Training certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use of hydrology modeling, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Work on a variety of land development site designs
• Research, coordinate, manage projects, supervise staff, estimate costs, and handle permitting for land disturbance and bid package preparation
• Receive mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
