Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This role is not remote and involves site development engineering, project management, and training under mentorship.

You will complete civil design, permitting, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and storm drainage programs. Collaboration with project teams and client interactions are expected as you grow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• ABET-accredited B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Intern certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects.
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and software applications (hydrology modeling, storm drainage).
• Work on land development site designs and prepare bid packages.
