Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Measurement Technician in Minnesota. The role requires troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of compressor station control systems and measurement equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Thorough understanding of SWA and safe work practices.
Knowledge and understanding of lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures.
Basic knowledge of engine mechanics.
Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software.
Must be an expert in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC).

Responsibilities

Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations and related facilities.
Perform routine and major maintenance on gas-driven compressor units and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair various electronic and hydraulic equipment.
Maintain PLCs, sensors, instruments and control systems.
Assemble, wire, test, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions and locate causes using test tools.
Complete work orders in SAP and maintain records.
