Job summary

TC Energy seeks an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Measurement Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate natural gas compressor station control systems, measurement equipment, and related facilities in Illinois.

The role requires a self-starter with strong problem solving and communication skills, and willingness to work extended hours for emergency responses and travel to company locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of SWA and LOTO procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to operate and maintain test equipment used for control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations and related facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot power, controls, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Calibrate and repair measurement equipment and regulators.
• Prepare records of inspections and tests for DOT compliance.
• Travel to other locations for temporary assignments as needed.
