Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Measurement Technician based in Shevlin, MN. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating natural gas compressor station control systems and measurement equipment.

Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision. Willingness to travel and be on-call is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of SWA and safe work practices; LOTO procedures.
Basic engine mechanics knowledge.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Must be an expert in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC).
Associate degree preferred with engine/electric coursework.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations and related facilities.
Perform routine and major maintenance on natural gas driven compressor units and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot and calibrate varied measurement and control equipment.
Maintain PLCs, process controls, meters, transmitters, and related devices.
Document inspections, calibrations, and test results; use SAP for work orders.
