Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Measurement Technician in the Northern Lakes area, Newfolden, MN. You will install, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations, meters, and related facilities, using a range of meters and control equipment.

You’ll troubleshoot complex systems and document DOT audits and calibrations, while coordinating with field personnel for emergency repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of SWA and LOTO procedures.
Experience in engine mechanics.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Expert in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC).

Responsibilities

Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations and related equipment.
Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electronic, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Maintain PLC, control, and related instrumentation and power systems.
Assemble, install, and test wiring, devices, and fixtures with handheld tools.
Diagnose malfunctions and locate causes using test equipment and meters.
Perform hydrostatic tests and verify test results and documentation.
Enter data into SAP, prepare records for inspections, and coordinate with field staff.
