Job summary

Freeze-Dry Foods LLC is seeking an Environmental Health Safety and Security (EHSS) Supervisor to lead site EHSS programs and ensure compliance in a food manufacturing setting. This hands-on role partners with operations to drive safety, training and accountability across all staff.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in EHSS within manufacturing, strong regulatory knowledge and relevant certifications. The position requires collaboration with the Safety department and cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an EHSS field or equivalent experience.
• Professional safety certifications (CSP/ASP/CIH/OSHM) preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of EHSS experience in manufacturing.
• Experience communicating with regulatory agencies.
• Experience supervising hourly employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHSS programs, policies and procedures in production.
• Ensure facility compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate EHSS training with Learning and Development.
• Coach managers on EHSS leadership and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Safety Committee and incident investigations.
• Maintain EHSS data and records per requirements.
