Job summary

USA Rare Earth LLC is seeking an Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) Manager for the Round Top site. You will develop and implement site-level EHS programs, drive a safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across MSHA, OSHA PSM, and Texas agencies.

You will oversee EMS design and deployment, radiation licensing, waste management, and environmental performance with a focus on sustainability metrics and ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with EA exposure is required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive EHS leadership in mining and chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with radioactive material waste licensing (NORM/TENORM) and radiation safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with MSHA for open-pit and heap leach operations and OSHA PSM for chemical units.
• Oversee Texas environmental programs (TCEQ), Title V air permits, IHW, and TPDES requirements.
• Design, deploy and improve EMS under ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks.
• Lead safety training, incident investigations, and risk assessments; promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage regulatory documentation, permits, and periodic reports.
• Support sustainability metrics, waste minimization, and water conservation initiatives.
