USA Rare Earth, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) leader at Round Top, Texas, to build and oversee site-level programs, drive compliance with MSHA and OSHA PSM, and advance ISO 14001/45001 systems across operations.

You will partner with operations, HR, and leadership to foster a strong safety culture and reduce risk. Ideal candidate has 7–10 years in heavy mining or chemical manufacturing EHS, with RN/TENORM experience; bilingual ability is a plus.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline. Experience may substitute
• 7-10 years of progressive EHS leadership in heavy civil mining (MSHA) and chemical manufacturing/refining (OSHA PSM).
• Experience in radioactive material waste licensing, NORM/TENORM management, and radiation safety officer level protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Regulatory Compliance & Oversight: Ensure unconditional compliance with MSHA regulations for open‑pit and heap leach operations, alongside OSHA PSM standards.
• Radioactive & Hazardous Waste Management: Manage Radioactive Material Licenses (RML) and NORM/TENORM programs.
• Texas State Permitting: Oversee TCEQ environmental programs including Title V, IHW, and TPDES.
• EMS & Sustainability: Design and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliant systems.
• Transportation Safety: Ensure chemical logistics safety under US DOT and TxDOT.
• Training & Improvement: Drive safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
