Job summary

USA Rare Earth, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to lead EHS programs at the Round Top site and across units. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive safety culture, and oversee environmental stewardship in mining and processing contexts.

The role requires 7–10 years of EHS leadership, expertise with MSHA and OSHA PSM, and experience managing NORM/TENORM licenses, permits, and ISO 14001/45001 systems. Travel up to 20% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive EHS leadership in mining or chemical manufacturing
• Experience with MSHA requirements and OSHA PSM
• Experience with NORM/TENORM radioactive waste management

Responsibilities

• Ensure MSHA and OSHA PSM compliance across operations
• Develop and maintain radioactive material licenses and permits
• Oversee Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) programs including Title V, IHW, and TPDES
• Design and deploy EMS under ISO 14001/45001
• Lead safety training and incident investigations
• Drive sustainability metrics and continuous improvement
