You will develop and update EHS policies, deliver classroom trainings, maintain records, and assist with OSHA logs and audits. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Modine's safety programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct classroom training.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding, or the ability to learn, basic chemical safety and engineering practices.
• Ability to work independently including planning training events on off-shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complete classroom and on the job training for topics such as hazard communications and safety procedures; file training records and update tracking spreadsheets.
• Update and write plant EHS policies and programs including Emergency Plans and PPE assessments.
• Compile, input and track EHS data; maintain OSHA logs; support safety investigations and corrective actions.
• Complete or support wastewater & storm water sampling; conduct safety inspections and audits; provide shop level support for incident investigations.
