This role performs advanced technical EHS tasks, conducts audits and inspections, leads incident investigations, and provides guidance to operations to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and basic environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular facility safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, including permits, logs, SDS records, training files, and regulatory reports.
• Lead or support incident investigations, documenting root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance activities including waste management, recycling programs, air/water sampling, and chemical handling.
• Monitor and track corrective actions to completion.
• Assist with emergency response activities and drills.
• Conduct or assist with EHS-related training, including new hire orientation, hazard-specific topics, and refresher courses.
• Provide coaching and guidance to employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
