Job summary

Base Power Company in Austin is seeking an EHS technician to own day-to-day OSHA, RCRA, EPA, and DOT compliance across our facility and job sites. Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or field operations environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, RCRA hazardous waste requirements, and EPA/TCEQ regulations.
• Electrical experience; familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage systems or NFPA 855 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day OSHA, TCEQ, RCRA, EPA, and DOT compliance across facility and job sites—inspections, corrective actions, and program management.
• Provide active floor and field presence: identify hazards, coach safe behaviors, deliver training, and build a safety culture that works on the line, not just on paper.
• Manage the full RCRA hazardous waste program storage, labeling, satellite accumulation, drum logs, and coordination with disposal contractors.
• Respond to EHS incidents and emergencies: activate procedures, collect preliminary findings, and support root cause investigations.
• Support air permit, SWPPP, and SPCC inspection cycles; develop JHAs and PPE assessments; maintain EHS documentation and databases.
