Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis, TN is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Technician to support regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements within a data center environment.

You will perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight, identify hazards, monitor exposures, maintain hazardous waste records, and assist in incident investigations, audits, and SPCC/RCRA activities to keep operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor employee exposure to hazards per OSHA limits.
• Assist in implementing site safety policies and PPE assessments.
• Perform safety surveys and ensure proper PPE use; reduce trip hazards and fall risks.
• Maintain hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, and logs.
• Assist in waste shipments, spill response, and SPCC/ SWPPP tasks.
• Support EHS engineers in accident investigations and regulatory audits.
