Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Technician to help ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations at the manufacturing facility.

You’ll work with engineers and technicians to implement OSHA/EPA/RCRA programs, conduct hazard analyses, PPE assessments, waste handling, and incident investigations.

Relocation may be required if you are not local; overtime, weekends, and lifting up to 30 lbs are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of EHS program experience.
• Experience managing hazardous waste storage.
• Experience with boots-on-the-ground safety oversight.
• Ability to relocate to Bastrop, TX (if not local).

Responsibilities

• Perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight; identify hazards.
• Monitor exposure to OSHA-regulated hazards.
• Assist in safety policy implementation.
• Create job hazard analyses and PPE assessments.
• Manage RCRA hazardous waste handling and storage.
• Conduct site environmental compliance audits.
