Job summary

Comrise is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the Environmental, Health & Safety program at our U.S. optical module/electronics manufacturing facility in Richardson, TX.

You will build and maintain an OSHA/EPA/compliance framework, drive incident investigations, and lead cross-functional EHS initiatives. The role requires 5+ years of EHS leadership, strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR parts 1904/1910/1926, ISO 14001/45001, and the ability to interact with regulators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety/EHS or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years EHS experience including leadership of projects.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001, and local regulations.
• Electronics/semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom exposure preferred.
• ISO management system development and audit preparation.
• OSHA 30-Hour training.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain EHS management systems in compliance with OSHA/EPA/ISO standards.
• Lead OSHA audits, air permits, emissions reporting, and regulatory reporting to agencies.
• Oversee day-to-day EHS programs: health, safety, environment, PPE, emergency response.
• Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Promote safety culture and lead major EHS improvement initiatives toward zero incidents.
• Manage environmental control systems and waste/wastewater/air emissions permitting.
• Participate in project planning and assess EHS impact for new/modified projects.
• Coordinate government inspections and maintain relationships with regulators.
