Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME seeks an Environmental, Safety & Sustainability Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESS systems and programs, providing leadership in EHS compliance and continuous improvement across the bakery.

You will perform routine safety, environmental, and sustainability inspections, coordinate regulatory interactions with OSHA and EPA, train supervisors, maintain records, and drive cross‑functional initiatives to improve safety and

Competenze

1–3 years of coordinating safety and/or environmental activities in a manufacturing setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences or related field; CSP/OHST/STS credentials are a plus.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Mansioni

Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of ESS systems and programs.
Perform regular safety, environmental and sustainability inspections to ensure compliance.
Coordinate regulatory inspections (OSHA, EPA) and manage inspection responses and citations.
Develop and deliver safety training and review topics during shift meetings.
Maintain records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA).
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive Safety, Sustainability and Environmental projects.
