Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Safety & Sustainability Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ESS systems and programs across the bakery network.

The role provides leadership for EHS compliance, continuous improvement, and regulatory interactions with OSHA and EPA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
• CSP, OHST, STS or other credentials are preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience coordinating safety and/or environmental activities in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of ESS programs and EHS compliance.
• Oversee regulatory inspections (OSHA, EPA) and citation abatement.
• Coordinate training and safety topics for supervisors and shift meetings.
• Ensure records and reports are submitted to regulatory agencies on time.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive safety, sustainability, and environmental projects.
