Job summary

Trane Technologies in Puerto Rico seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee safety, environmental compliance, and waste management at the Arecibo site. You will direct the work of operators, EHS technicians, and waste contractors while ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, EQB, PRASA and other regulations.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, data interpretation, training, and accurate reporting, with a competitive benefits package and DAY ONE eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in EHS, preferably in Environmental.
• Preferred: Class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for success.

Responsibilities

• Address safety and environmental compliance with laws and regulations.
• Supervise on-site EHS team and waste contractors.
• Lead continuous improvement and program implementation.
• Maintain regulatory reporting and records and ensure OSHA/EPA/EQB/PRASA compliance.
• Represent the company in inspections and community programs.
