Job summary

Trane Technologies in Puerto Rico is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to oversee at-site production improvements in the Arecibo Plant. You will supervise technicians, map processes, and apply Lean and ISO practices to enhance quality and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving and bilingual (English/Spanish) communication. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years in manufacturing.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
• Teamwork and conflict management abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
• Supervises Manufacturing Technicians and Utilities Personnel to meet quality, production, and cost targets.
• Evaluates personnel performance and maintains documentation.
• Trains staff in Lean, PFMEA, Process Mapping and ISO procedures.
• Coordinates staffing, attendance, and Kronos timecards.
• Leads process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
