Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety leader to oversee all EHS programs at our Vernon, CA facility. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations while driving safety culture across production, maintenance, sanitation, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, training delivery, and maintaining LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, and emergency response programs; plus managing workers' comp and environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in EHS leadership in manufacturing or related environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Proven ability to engage employees and foster safety culture.
• Experience with safety audits, reporting, and training.
• Excellent communication and leadership at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all EHS programs across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, hazard analyses.
• Investigate workplace incidents and root causes.
• Develop and deliver safety training for production, maintenance, sanitation, and leadership teams.
• Maintain LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, confined space, fall protection, and emergency programs.
• Track safety metrics and regulatory documentation.
• Partner with operations to reduce injuries and improve safety.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work.
• Support environmental compliance incl. waste, hazardous materials, sustainability.
