Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor for our manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with OSHA and safety programs. You will lead audits, manage PPE, and drive safety training while monitoring KPIs and incident reports.

You will collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety, oversee workers’ compensation processes, and stay current with safety trends and legislation affecting our facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing safety role.
• Certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with food safety, OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and health programs in compliance with OSHA and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to standards.
• Monitor safety metrics and KPIs and report to management.
• Manage PPE supplies, usage, and costs.
• Develop and deliver safety training for all employees.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate to foster a culture of safety across the organization.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims and timely handling.
• Stay updated on emerging safety trends and legislation.
