Job summary

Wyman Gordon, a division of Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), located in Princeton, KY, seeks a Safety Specialist to lead site-wide safety and health programs.

This role reports to plant leadership and aims to eliminate hazards, manage risk, and foster a zero-incident safety culture across manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include program development, hazard analysis, safety culture, cross-functional collaboration, committee leadership, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline related to safety or environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and PPE standards.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to lead safety programs and drive incident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site-wide safety and health programs.
• Lead hazard assessments, JSAs, and incident investigations.
• Champion safety culture and drive behavioral safety on the floor.
• Collaborate with leadership, production, and maintenance on safety practices.
• Oversee Safety Committee and track corrective actions.
• Assist with environmental compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Create and deliver safety training; stay current on regulations.
• Oversee third-party safety and industrial hygiene consultants.
