Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate scientific or engineering field with 4 years safety experience, or an Associate’s degree with 7 years safety experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; must participate in medical surveillance and pass a physical exam to enable emergency response and PPE use.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets and databases; strong communication, organization, and customer service skills; knowledge of standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, develop, and maintain EHS procedures, policies, programs, and work instructions; conduct inspections, audits, and reports; track corrective actions.
• Perform IH monitoring, sampling, and testing; evaluate hazards and recommend controls.
• Coordinate EHS initiatives; provide guidance and training on programs, regulatory requirements, and safe practices.
• Maintain EHS inventories and records; oversee hazardous materials handling and waste in compliance with requirements.
