Job summary

Associates Systems in New Jersey is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, lead safety programs, and conduct inspections in construction or industrial settings.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in EHS, and prefers CSP or ASP certification along with a related Bachelor's degree. Candidates should be able to manage multiple projects and deliver effective training.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety within construction, industrial plants or similar industries
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in construction or industrial setting

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular workplace health and safety assessments and make recommendations for improvement.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and education on health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all health and safety activities, including training records and accident reports.
