Job summary

ERM, a global leader in environmental, health and safety consultancy, seeks a Consulting Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance in Ewing, New Jersey. You will help clients meet regulatory requirements, reduce risk, and advance sustainability goals while protecting people and the planet.

Responsibilities include assisting with regulatory compliance projects, preparing permits and reports, conducting assessments, and providing on-site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of EHS experience.
• Ability to travel locally up to 60%.
• Local candidates only.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of EHS regulatory compliance and risk management projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs.
• Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet regulations.
• Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
• Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed.
• Conduct environmental fieldwork and audits, including sampling and ecological studies.
• Carry out inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, and risk assessments.
