Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist in New Jersey to support OSHA, EPA, and site safety programs. The role emphasizes compliance, incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement to protect workers and the environment.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in EHS, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience with inspections, investigations, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OSHA/EPA compliance and company EHS standards.
• Conduct safety, environmental, and security inspections and audits.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and identify corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain records.
• Support emergency preparedness and reporting requirements.
• Manage environmental compliance programs and waste management.
• Track EHS metrics and document reporting.
