Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational HSE or related field with 3+ years safety experience in manufacturing.
• Functional safety knowledge about regulatory requirements, safety, industrial hygiene and environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication or equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Professional safety certification or pursuit of CIH/CSP/CHMM is desirable.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for safety and environmental issues and ensure compliance with company programs.
• Develop and implement safety policies, incentive programs, and processes.
• Create up-to-date employee safety training, including OSHA-required programs.
• Lead internal audits and incident investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance responses and support inspections.
