Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an EHS Leader to oversee health and safety for multiple manufacturing plants in Centerville, Iowa. This role involves compliance with safety regulations and driving initiatives for a positive safety culture. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environment, Health & Safety and relevant experience in manufacturing. Remote work is not applicable as this position requires on-site management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety role in manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience in OSHA, EPA reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of Health and Safety policies and programs.
• Audit sites for compliance with Health and Safety programs.
• Investigate incidents and ensure follow-up on safety compliance.
