Job summary

CSL Behring LLC in Illinois seeks an experienced EHS leader to sustain and advance the site’s safety, health, and environmental program. You will align local practices with global EHS standards, drive incident investigations, and lead contractor safety initiatives across major projects.

You will manage OSHA compliance, build risk-based controls, and partner with operations to improve site safety performance while leveraging Enablon for data and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or health & safety field.
• OSHA 3 General Industry and Construction certification obtainable.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is preferred.
• 2+ years implementing EHS electronic management systems.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and align EHS information with global program (Enablon, SDS, Change Management).
• Develop criteria for local/global management reviews and report to stakeholders.
• Lead safety incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist in Contractor/Construction Safety Program implementation with project teams.
• Oversee compliance programs for OSHA general industry and construction regulations.
• Support CSL projects through EHS review and risk addressing.
• Articulate project risk vs controls, prioritize EHS issues, and ensure build-to-code compliance.
• Ensure site regulatory conformance to safety procedures and policies.
• Liaise with operating departments on EHS matters as assigned.
• Support industrial hygiene assessments and practical risk mitigations.
• Provide EHS subject matter expertise to manufacturing value streams.
