Job summary

CSL Behring LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to sustain and develop site EHS programs in a biotech/pharma environment. You will lead risk assessments and incident investigations while advancing contractor safety and compliance programs.

You will ensure OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926 compliance, serve as EHS SME for stage-gate reviews, and collaborate with operating departments to drive timely corrective actions across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• OSHA 3 General Industry and Construction Industry certificates required or able to obtain.
• 5–7 years EHS experience in biotech/pharma or chemical environment.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Implement Contractor/Construction Safety Program with project delivery team.
• Oversee compliance programs related to OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926.
• Serve as Safety SME in stage gate reviews of major Tier 1 and 2 projects.
• Partner with operating departments on EHS matters.
• Support industrial hygiene functions and interpret findings.
• Periodically support manufacturing value streams as EHS SME.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Occupation Health and Safety or related field

Advanced degree preferred / MBA

OSHA 3 General Industry and Construction Industry certificates

CSP, CSHT, OSHA 510 Certification preferred
