Job summary

ICL Group is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to lead EHS across manufacturing operations. You will drive compliance, partner with regulatory bodies, and oversee capital projects supporting health & safety initiatives.

The role includes implementing global EHS tools, developing training, and ensuring accurate EHS records while fostering a proactive safety culture. On-call for plant emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Environmental Health & Safety or related degree.
• Minimum of 2 years EHS experience.
• Knowledge in Process Safety Management preferred.
• Experience managing people/processes in health and safety field.
• Previous management experience in industrial and chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ESH compliance with corporate ESH, Production, and Quality teams.
• Liaise with local, state, and federal agencies including IOSHA, EPA, IDEM, DOT.
• Oversee permit applications and reports per environmental regulations.
• Initiate and manage capital projects supporting EHS initiatives.
• Lead improvement of Responsible Care 14001 EHS system.
• Lead site implementation of Enablon and GOARC tools.
• Develop and deliver required EHS training for all employees.
• Support JHAs and EHS inspections/audits.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (HAZOP, What-if).
