Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to support and maintain EHS programs at the Winter Haven site, coordinating with compliance programs to protect personnel and assets. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, incident management, and training leadership.

The position offers a typical 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with travel up to 10% and a bonus program based on performance. A strong shop-floor presence and safety culture advocacy are key expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 1 year of work experience in manufacturing/operations or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an Operations function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate programs and processes with site management to reduce injuries, illnesses, and property losses.
• Integrate risk/loss controls into daily operations.
• Support employee-led safety committees.
• Maintain incident management systems and processes with change procedures and documentation, and safety observation/hazard tracking.
• Record and analyze incident data and recommend corrective actions.
• Support practical compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
• Foster a positive safety culture with proactive interactions and strong shop-floor presence.
