Shirley Parsons is teaming up with a leading manufacturing company to find their next EHS Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky. This person will be in charge of overseeing and directing the operations of the facility to ensure compliance with and surpass federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental standards.

The Role:

• Create, review, and revise Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures and records.
• Examine accidents and close calls to identify underlying causes and implement corrective measures.
• Train team members on safety procedures, policies, and best practices to support a safe work environment.
• Assess and review the environment, equipment, and processes to verify adherence to government safety regulations and industry guidelines.
• Recognize possible safety risks and suggest/execute corrective measures.

The Candidate:

• Up to 2 years of manufacturing EHS experience. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, sustainable practices, and environmental regulations.
