Shirley Parsons is teaming up with a leading manufacturing company to find their next EHS Coordinator in Cleveland, Ohio. This person will strive to ensure the safety and well being of all employees by working closely with other departments to implement top notch safety trainings and programs.

The Role:

• Manage and work together on investigations, identifying underlying causes and taking corrective measures.
• Foster employee participation by organizing safety meetings and actively engaging staff in safety programs.
• Develop, execute, and oversee safety programs, suggesting enhancements to health and safety practices within the facility.
• Perform inspections, recognize environmental, health, and safety risks, and create/execute corrective measures.

The Candidate:

• BS in Safety Management or 2-3 years of on site safety experience.
• Experience written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, sustainable practices, and environmental regulations.
