Northstar Aerospace operates at its Chicago facility, seeking an EHS Specialist to drive environmental, health, and safety programs. You will lead risk mitigation, conduct safety analyses, and manage documentation to support compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state/local regulations.

The role requires 3+ years in EHS, relevant certifications, and the ability to train and coordinate across teams in a 24/7 industrial setting. This position is based on-site at the Chicago facility.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety roles)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety roles
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 501, OSHA-30, OSHA 511, EHS Specialist, CSP, ASP, etc. are preferred

Mansioni

• Direct the implementation of occupational safety, health, and environmental programs with expertise.
• Lead investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for managers and trades personnel.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and procedures to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Support air, waste, and water compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate emergency responses and liaise with inspectors/auditors.
