Job summary

North State Aviation seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee environmental, health, and safety compliance programs across the operation.

You will direct inspections, ensure proper safety equipment, and interface with OSHA and state agencies while developing and updating safety policies and procedures. Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive 100% safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety and/or Environmental Science, or equivalent.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.
• Minimum of six (6) years related experience; OR OSH/Env Science with at least 2 years related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental, health and safety compliance programs across the operation.
• Direct inspection of work practices and safety hazards to ensure proper fire protection equipment and first-aid supplies.
• Interface with government agencies such as OSHA and state environmental departments.
• Develop and update workplace safety and environmental policies and rules.
• Ensure proper sampling of hazardous materials for analysis and testing.
