Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Professional to support the Space Force Range Contract. You will perform a range of duties from inspections to program development and training to ensure EHS compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in EHS and 3+ years of experience, with CSP/CIH/CHMM credentials preferred. Occasional travel and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environment, health or safety field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of EHS experience with program compliance and field activities.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1904/1910/1926 and NFPA/ANSI standards.
• Experience with training EHS topics and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support a comprehensive EHS program across locations.
• Perform safety inspections and advise management on EHS issues.
• Develop and implement new EHS programs and training.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for air, wastewater, and hazardous materials.
• Monitor regulatory changes and disseminate information to stakeholders.
• Research, acquire, and dispose of hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation.
