Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead daily safety and environmental programs at a manufacturing site. You will ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, conduct audits, support permit processes, and drive incident-free operations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1 year of safety/environmental experience; preferred are ISO/VPP experience and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience implementing occupational safety and environmental programs.
• Preferred: ISO, VPP, and other safety programs experience.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Monitoring and Reporting.
• Primary hazardous waste SME responsibilities, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives.
• Direct industrial hygiene sampling and support.
• Manage the facility EHS program and related audits.
• Lead planning, training, inspection, reporting and recordkeeping for all environmental and safety programs.
