Job summary
Generac is seeking a Senior Corporate Environmental Specialist in Wisconsin to advance its Environmental Management System and regulatory programs across manufacturing sites. You will translate complex regulations into practical site actions, lead compliance initiatives, and partner with plant leadership to improve safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Ability to travel locally up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for environmental compliance programs across multiple facilities.
- Interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations and translate into site plans.
- Conduct compliance assessments, inspections, and program reviews (air, hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater).
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Partner with plant managers and EHS teams to implement environmental requirements on the factory floor.
