Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the Prescott, WI facility by turning safety initiatives into action on the plant floor. You will work with EHS leadership to implement programs, deliver training, and maintain documentation across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, OSHA training, and environmental reporting, with travel up to 25% to CA and Toronto as needed. A strong safety culture and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and employee training
• Experience developing or coordinating workforce training programs
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to interact with production teams and leadership
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional EHS certifications are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Execute EHS initiatives developed by leadership and drive site implementation
• Serve as safety resource for employees and production teams
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations
• Lead OSHA-related training programs and compliance initiatives
• Coordinate employee safety training, tracking, and documentation
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns with corrective actions
• Manage EHS reporting, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation
• Partner with production leadership to communicate findings and opportunities for improvement
• Support environmental compliance programs and reporting requirements
• Provide occasional support for EHS training initiatives at other locations

This role is ideal for someone who can take direction from leadership, execute initiatives on the plant floor, and help build a strong culture of safety and compliance.

You'll work closely with EHS leadership to implement programs, deliver training, manage documentation, and support compliance efforts across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the boots-on-the-ground safety resource for employees and production teams
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations
• Lead and support OSHA-related training programs and compliance initiatives
• Coordinate employee safety training, tracking, and documentation
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while driving corrective actions
• Manage EHS reporting, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation
• Partner with production leadership to communicate findings, trends, and improvement opps
• Support environmental compliance programs and reporting requirements
• Provide occasional support for EHS training initiatives at the California facility and administrative EHS responsibilities for the Toronto location

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety programs, and employee training
• Experience developing, facilitating, or coordinating workforce training programs
• Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with production employees, supervisors, and leadership teams
• Experience managing projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional EHS certifications are preferred but not required

Travel Requirements

• Up to 25% travel as needed
• Occasional travel to California, estimated at a maximum of four trips per year
