Job summary

Greenfield Global is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Site Manager for our Brookfield, Connecticut facility. You will lead site safety programs, act as the subject matter expert for EHS, and drive a proactive safety culture across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with site leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, manage inspections and reports, and push continuous improvement in risk reduction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS programs in manufacturing or highly regulated settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs.
• Serve as EHS subject matter expert to site leadership.
• Develop and advance a safe culture through coaching and training.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Manage inspections, audits, permits, reporting, and agency interactions.
• Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental programs.
• Support Process Safety Management and related risk reduction initiatives.
• Lead contractor safety programs and safe execution of non-routine work.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and response programs.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive improvements.
