Job summary

Griswold Products is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Lead to drive and support EHS programs across rubber manufacturing sites. The role emphasizes safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, with frequent travel to various facilities.

The successful candidate will lead incident investigations, training, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Working knowledge of EPA and state environmental requirements.
• Experience with inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve EHS programs across multiple facilities.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Lead training on EHS topics and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support environmental compliance programs and regulatory inspections.
• Travel up to 60% to company locations for on-site EHS support.
